Memorial Oncology Staff Honored as Guardian Angels
GULFPORT, Miss.— The family of Mr. Leo Seal has recognized the doctors, nurses and patient care associates (PCA) of the Memorial Oncology department as Guardian Angels for their care, compassion, and untiring dedication to their profession.

In a prepared statement, the family said, “It takes a truly special person to administer the level of care you provide through the most trying of times. You do much more than you realize. The care, comfort, and support that you all provide to the patients and their families, will never be forgotten by us or the many other lives that you touch. Please know that we appreciate your commitment and compassion in the field of oncology medicine.”
The Memorial Hospital Foundation initiated the Guardian Angel program to give grateful patients the opportunity to make a donation to the Foundation in honor of a doctor, nurse, other staff member or volunteer who made a difference in their care or the care of a loved one at Memorial. Guardian Angel recipients receive a lapel pin they wear with pride.
