2007 Pink in the Rink
On November 17, 2007, the Mississippi Sea Wolves held the first annual “Pink in the Rink” charity hockey game at the Mississippi Coast
Coliseum. Proceeds from jersey auctions and ticket sales totaled over
$20,000.
The success of this endeavor led to the establishment of the
Sea Wolves Breast Imaging Special Needs Patient Fund at Memorial
Hospital. This fund is used to provide financial assistance to patients
receiving breast diagnostic imaging services such as mammograms, breast
ultrasounds and breast MRIs at Memorial.
One hundred percent of the contributions to
this fund go directly to assist these patients in our community. To
date, over 180 women have benefited from this fund.
