2009 Pink in the Rink
On February 7, 2009 the Mississippi Sea Wolves held the 2nd Annual Pink in the Rink Hockey game. The event raised over $31,000, including a donation from the Mississippi Power Foundation. The Waiting for a Cure Foundation also donated to this cause.
Proceeds from this event fund the Sea Wolves Breast Imaging Special Needs Patient Fund. This fund is used to provide financial assistance to patients in need of mammograms, breast ultrasounds or breast MRIs.
